Becoming a Christian is to be brought to know God in a real and personal way. This is not something that can done by our own powers of will, intellect or reason. It is the work of the Holy Spirit in awakening our souls and giving us eternal life. Whether this happens in a moment or over a period of time is not important. What matters is that we know we have passed from death to life [John 5 verse 24]. For those who have experienced this “being born again” they have a testimony to tell. It is our hope and prayer that as you read these testimonies of the members and friends of the church here at Calvary Chapel that the Lord will bring you to know Jesus Christ as the Saviour. The Bible says, “but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” [John 20 verse 31]
